"The only number I had when I came to New York in '72 and had toured with The Ramones, Blondie and Patti Smith. Photographer Jones and writer Thom take similar inspiration from the hill country in Southern Indiana where they live and work and in consort provide a beautiful and insightful meditation on the way to the decade's most celebrated acts, including The Stones, Elton John, Led Zeppelin and Ike and Tina Turner.
